depends on how he works. if he gives you the specs on the cam you can have HKE order the cam from Comp cams.

You contact Patrick G so that he can define the camshaft specifications for your application. He provides you with the desired camshaft specifications for a small fee. You then proceed to a vendor or manufacturer to grind your camshaft.

If you'd like me to spec you a custom cam, just click the cam help link in my signature and follow the instructions. Thanks!

Why do that when you can get one spec'd for your car and you specific goals from one of the most experiencd guys there is? I had a big cam spec'd by Patrick a couple months ago but havent even bought it yet ... Once I'm done with my current setup I'll be putting it in and taking a close look at the cam only list

Um because I had countless "Cam Guru" cams come through the shop and none of them made any power. Talk to anyone... Trevor at TSP, Mikey at G-force, Mike at ICON any experienced shop will tell you the same thing... That is something that we would always laugh about. You have to understand at MTI we tried HUNDREDS of cam variations. There is no "magical" cam grind that is going to get you 25 extra hp because some internet squirrel thinks your combo needs a 232/234 cam instead of a 228/230based on your combo. There IS a need to get a cam based on the heads that you are using etc but it isn't rocket science. Use the search function and find the thread where TSP used an engine dyno to test various cams and see what they have to say about internet cam gurus lol. I remember putting a motor in a customers vette with had one of our bigger cams in it. He wanted more power so he got one of the "g" cams..... yeah made less power.
