I've been walking on it since about 3 days from my surgery too. Doc told me to stay off it for 48hrs then walk / do activities according to pain. It doesn't hurt an 1/8 as bad as it did before the surgery.

I was rear ended @ a red light on my GSXR 1000 and shattered both my knee caps. They are held together by wires.Could not walk for 13 weeks and it is taking forever to get the range of motion back. But i have made it to the Track twice to race my car so that makes me feel much better.
