I thought the 35th LE SS's had hand written signatures on the inside fenderwell of the builders....signed and dated....I have only seen 3 35th SS's and they all 3 had them in the bay..agian, I'm not to familiar with the Limited Edition cars that much

Sounds like the build number of your car is really an SS and was built in '02. Could it be that they didn't line up every LE in a row for numbering? I know that the pewter SS aren't all numbered sequentially so why would the anniversary editions?

Yeah ive seen a Couple reg SS build #s in the 2000's... So I guess, but I wish there was a way to tell for sure, I just dont see why anybody would take the time to replicate an LE... Wheels, Decals, Seats... Seats especially !!!

Dude that's good to know. I was starting to get pissed off with you. I've read stories about fake SS's and people who have paid thousands more than it's really worth and almost nothing makes me more mad than a scammer. I'm glad you don't have a fake. I would be petrified if I found out my car wasn't what I thought it was (Z28, Y3F, Flame red interior)....

they made 11,191 SS's in 02... the LE's have 2 build number as you have found out. The LE's weren't all built in a row, they have random SS build numbers (not consecutive)
