I'd say it looks like the incorrect box size was used (or at least that large box was not filled properly to take the space up). I wouldn't blame that one on UPS, but rather the packaging person at Summit.

ups is horrible about mishandling packages... i used to know a couple of guys that worked there and they threw boxes around for fun especially if there was anything on them about being fragile or handle with care... they suck but atleast they get the **** there on time... i have had numerous problems with fed ex either "misplacing" my packages or delaying the delivery time... screw both of them!

Degree wheel, checking springs, piston stop...nothing really cool. Everything was ok, so I'm not pissed, just disappointed.
I'm not surprised to see this though, I've seen a UPS guy throw a $5000 set of ETP cylinder heads right off the truck.
