Default frio river cabbins

We are planning a trip to tube the frio this weekend and I'm trying to locate the best cabbins to rent that also have tubes avaiable - Any ideas?
Also, are there any sections of the frio that are particually better than others?

thanks

We stayed at the Cyphress Bank cabins and well it was a little better as the water in front of the cabins was still waist to chest high in some of the areas and not as low as other parts of the river and when we floated it we had to walk a good portion of it. Not sure what has changed since we went 3 months ago etc... Have fun.

Yeah, definitely make a reservation before you go. Don't ever show up hoping to find a vacancy. Most people make their reservations a year in advance, so things stay pretty booked up.

We called around to several camp sites in that area and they were booked up until December for weekend stays. During the week might be a little easier to get a place to stay.

We went a few weeks ago to the Frio and it was too low to float... You might want to make sure before you book the cabin!

Yes, the Frio is definitely too low to float right now. IMO go to New Braunfels and float the Comal. The Comal always has plenty of water in it.

Sucks about the water level - Thanks for the info, I'll make some calls and see what the water is like.
