Exclamation LMR's Nitrous Firebird runs 8.64 @159mph!!!

Larry and Edgar Cato's nitrous firebird ran 8.64, 8.67, and 8.7 yesterday. This car is an LSX 427ci, on drag radials with stock style suspension. All these passes were made on ONE kit. These passes were made in 100*+ houston summer weather. Enjoy!

What were his 1/8th mile numbers? 8.6X is moving pretty good and in this heat it's even better. With better air that thing will drop a couple .1's. Congrats guys !!!

above 3250#'s last night. , Certed down to 8.50's, We are running in a local series called Tuff street.

I think u asked in another thread about the setup. Its a 427ci LSX block. Allpro 6bolt heads (cathedrals not LS7's), Victor Jr EFI, LMR cam, glide, 12 bolt ( yes the same 12 bolt that been in it for years ). Lots of guys daily drive setups more potent than my stuff here in H-town , Josh has got a good handle on getting it down the track and back on the trailer LOL!

Our Cold Air Induction Systems are in stock and ready to ship. Black retails for $399.99 and carbon fiber finish retails for $449.99. You would be looking at around $32 in shipping to New York. Call me tomorrow(monday) and I will get it shipped out right away so you can have it by the weekend!

Stepped it up a little bit. First pass Rob got out of it when it blew off the tires, and then still put it back on the bars down track.

We were testing some different tune/suspension setups, seeing how they worked. Just didn't work for that track, with those conditions. Maybe one of these days we will put a slick back on the car, and see if what we can do, but probably not before the LSX shootout.
