440 ls7
Hey Mike,
This is Mike Navarro, you have my pewter SS in your shop now, the one with the busted up motor. I’ve been raising money and selling spare parts like craze in preparation for my build. I’m still going to need at least six months so I plan on settling up with you by Friday and having my car towed home. I’ll take this time to prep my car for a few other things I wanted to do before the motor build.
You’ve pretty much sold me on a 440 LS7. I’m planning my mods to go with this block and was wondering if you could give me some advice on what topend to go with? You mentioned the TFS 235 to me but would I be better off with the TFS 245 or ported LS7 heads? And for the intake: Fast ported 96/96 (with TFS) or the new Fast 102 combo (w/LS7 heads)? I’d like to get around the 625-35rwhp mark NA if possible as long as it has good manors on the street. My big question is with that much power would I have issues with traction on the street using MT’s? I don’t want to melt my tires or spin out every time I try to play.
I didn’t mean for this to get so longs so I’ll rap it up…I just wanted to express my appreciation on how quick you and your team jumped on my car to diagnose my problem and wanted to say thank you for your help so far. It’s hard trying to find a shop that you can rely on and trust, so I appreciate it. With that being said do you have a time frame when you’ll get my motor back, I’ve sold the topend and will need to start shipping stuff out soon and figured I'd pick my car and the motor up at the same time.
Thanks Mike~

Good work Mikey, Jay, Greg, Roberto and Juanothan
I can't wait to get Herbie back so I can start laying pipe on these cars, only because they will want more power. Which will make you even more money
