Hey folks,
I finally signed up for this site. Been lurking for a while. I have a 2002 Z28 that I've had about a year and a half. I've always been into fast cars but this is the first one I've actually owned due to a costly pursuit of becoming a commercial pilot (which I now am but make so much more money being an engineer that I don't fly any more). I had a Civic hatch in HS that I thought was fast until I rode in a Vette.
I live in Pearland (old Pearland near Friendswood - I hardly ever go to the 288/Silverlake area). Other than cars I'm quite into golf and the space program (which is where I work). I am new to LS1's but in college I helped my roomate build a 91 GTA into a carbed 7000 rpm 383 monster with the first couple years earnings from his first real job (he was a couple years older than me); that was a fun car to build and we both learned a whole lot doing it, we started with very little knowledge and made a lot of mistakes (lost a driveshaft at about 90mph - that was fun) but I guess that is the point.
Anyway, just wanted to let yall know who I am... glad to be here.

Welcome!
Reason I love this site is because the amount of information you can find on it.
If you have a problem with you're car there is a 99.9% chance that other people on the site have ran into the same problem. And there is usually a fix to it!
Anyways enjoy you're stay.

I live in Pearland now. I grew up in Webster until junior high then we moved to Clear Lake, so not far away. When we bought a house we moved to the other side of the freeway just to have a little "distance" from the parents... we both have great parents but you know how it can be some times.
