Default need help deleting engine light

i have a check engine light thats been on for a while something like a clutch sensor failure and wanted to get it reset

not deleting it but resetting it

disconnect the battery overnight or go to vato zone and have them delete it

I have found some VatoZone's will not reset it unless you know the guy. Technically they are not allowed to do so

Vato zone told me they couldn't delete the code for me and so did O'really auto parts... So i went and bought a scan tool. Very good investment.

VatoZone can reset codes, they reset mine, but are required by company policy not to do so

the scan tool is about 70$ at oreillys. the best investment you can make like everyone else said.

when you go to AZ, just hop in the drivers seat and have them give you the scanner... i've never been to an AZ that woudlnt let me scan my own car.

eventually i got sick of playing that game and bought a cheap scanner from Harbor Freight for like $30

unplugging bat overnight seemed to wrk. thanks if it arrises araign ill go buy the tool
