Anyone know a black 05 style GT mustang, tuned by "Fastlane" with a big procharger?
Was coming down 249 today into Tomball and ran into an extreme sounding 05 body style mustang GT. I pulled up beside him at the light and instantly heard the sound of a big procharger.
Chatted with him over the sound of our cars, told me he made 680rwhp with a built motor (big stroker i would guess from the sound) and I think he said F1R procharger. It is black with polished/chrome wheels, little "boss" emblems and a sticker on the back that said tuned by fastlane/fastline I dont remember.
Anyway we tried to go from a 40 but I went straight sideways and he instantly let out. Asked for a third gear pull and he agreed, so we sped up to 60 and gave it three honks. At the end of that run I had about 2.5-3 cars on him.
Then he asked me for a dig, lol, and I didnt want to but I agreed. Out of the hole I actually put a fender on him spinning, then started to pull when I got traction in third.
Anyway he was a cool dude, and I would like to get more info on his car. So does anyone know the car?

His name is Kenny. Nice guy has a D1 on there runs good for what it is. Its about a 650-700 rwhp car. Can't remeber what it put down the last time. But hes a real nice guy. I put it on him a few times at TX2K8 and we have talked occationally ever since. He's been looking for an F1 for his car, but hasn't found one yet. And yeah Nick at Fastland built it.

Anyway yeah he was a really cool guy, and I absolutely loved his car. He told me 680rwhp, so sounds about right. Im on pumpgas/lowboost right now.
And I have never heard a D1 sound like that before, it was sooooo loud!

My car makes more power on the street than it does on the dyno though, thats a rearmount turbo for you. Doesnt get enough load on the dyno.
So what is your setup?
