where is the oil sensor located on a ls1 engine

right behind the intake manifold on the right....i can only see mine when the manifold was out of car

for the record, it's next to impossible to reach with the intake manifold in place, and i'm pretty sure it would be even worse to put it back in right. You're going to need a special socket that's 1 1/16 in size if i remember correctly, it's only $10. Don't bother trying anything else like a wrench, vise grips, goose necks, crescent wrenchs, hammers, DBs, etc cuz i'm 99.9% it's not going to work.

I have an extra, brand new in the box. Bought it in case we broke the existing one during a manifold swap... but I didn't.

Let me know. I'll give you a discount from retail.
