eBay electric cutout?
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Stain...Q5fAccessories
Anyone tried one of these? Looking to get a nice 3" electric cutout but don't want to pay $215 for a QTP.

I've never seen that one before either.
From what I hear, Ebay parts are sort of hit or miss. A few friends have gotten the Ebay smooth bellows, and love them. A few have gotten the Ebay headers and love them.

I'll probably have it mostly open most of the time, so the motor shouldn't see too much action..

i want to put a cut out on my DD truck... i wanna keep the stock muffler for when i just want it to be quiet but when i want the "exhaust" tone i want to open the cut out but have a dynomax bullet behind the cut out and then by pass the stock muffler and exit out the stock piping... anyone recommend a good exhaust shop capeable of doing that on the cheap? i think it would be sick, i love the sound but sometimes it just gets old, esp when im on a LOOONG road trip...
i found a cut out the other day for $90... just google electric exhaust cut out and it's like the first one...

Hmmm havent really heard of DMH. Looks like a quality product, but I think the stainless steel is nice and the eBay one is half the price.

It seems like all the eBay ones ended and the website that was working previously is now just giving me this error:
"This category is currently empty. Please check back soon for new Products... This is the topic Named: emptycategorytext. You edit this in the ADMIN site."
Is the site working for anyone else? I really want to order one now.

Here is the cutout, I will try to snag pics of it under the the car and also the wiring harness. I will say the ONLY bad thing about this is the way it draws power is with the cig lighter. I will be hardwiring it in somewhere so I dont have to have it plugged into the socket all the time. Other than that I popped the rubber seal out from under the rear floorboard, made a small slit in the carpet under the mat, pushed the wire thru, put a big enough hole in the rubber seal and siliconed around the hole, ran the wire under the passenger seat and left the wireless receiver under the seat. I can activate it easily 15 feet from the car with the key fobs.

Got mine installed today and I love it. i had it welded in but did the power wiring myself and it was a breeze. The wireless remote control key fobs are really cool. I may end up hardwiring the power also like DamageInc but it's not that bad. The carpet underneath my back seat is getting warm though.
I wasn't expecting to really make a noticeable difference in power with the cutout open but it really pulls harder.
Took some videos on my phone but I can't get them in the correct format to open them on the computer.
