Default Who was the guy with LT1 tails on his LS1 car?

I remember seeing a guy in this section that had LT1 tail lights on his LS1 car. I want to find out what year car they have. I found a way to make the LT1 tail lights work as they should with 1 wire added and it will work on 97-00 cars, just don't know a about 01 and 02 cars.

Silver35th, I don't suppose you dig around the steering cloumn area do you? I am looking to see if there is a wire that goes into the column on pin "p". It would be a white wire on the steering column side and there would be nothing on the body side. That is the wire that goes to the blinker switch to activate the brake lights and make them properly function as an LT1 car's tail lights.

I am doing a write up on this for other people, but I want my information to be correct. I have parts and access to cars that are 93-00 but nothing for 01 and 02. I believe that they changed the columns in 01 and 02. So if anyone could look up under there, I would appreciate it.

Oh that's cool. I'm just trying to get some info on what I can.

It's funny. There are people interested but no one wants to find anything out. You're the first one that has actually said they'd see what they can do. Thanks
