Coming to Htown this weekend, anyone gunna be at HRP friday? I am coming down to visit family, and was planning on bringing the new ride out to HRP to get some good timeslips and to bring my little brother out to the dragstrip for the first time. He is real excited about getting into hotrods.
Im just wondering if anyone is gunna be out there, cause I would like some cool people to hang out with. Going to the strip by yourself is never as much fun.
So if your planning on going then post up, I would love to meet some new friends.

Are you going to be here over the weekend? If you are on the south side, you should check out the car meet on Saturday nights in Kemah. It's usually a pretty good time, and its normally a big car meet. Your little brother would probably enjoy that.

Yeah i will be here all weekend, but last time I came down I asked where to go and someone told me Kemah. I showed up and I was the only one in the lot LOL.
I went to that meet like a year ago and it was good, but a couple months ago it was non existant.
I would just be happy to get get a couple runs in, but it is looking like rain might be moving in. 60% chance on friday! 
So I may not drive the camaro, might bring the wife's econobox kia instead if the weather doesnt get to looking better.

The meet is pretty much non existent during the winter time. March through Octoberish is when it's going. I have been the past few weekends, and there have always been at least 60 or so cars, so I assure you the meet will be decent unless there is bad weather. If you ever come during the summertime that parking lot is completely packed.
So, if you are looking for something to do on Saturday, drive right there in front of Home Depot, and behind Chick-fil-a around 6ish. If it's a nice day and you are the only car there, I will Paypal you $20.

If you don't mind 1/8 mile, Angleton should be open saturday for a regular bracket race program (if it doesn't rain). check regularly here-
