Does anyone recommend any paint and body shops for fbodys in houston, I want the car to look as good or better, not trying to set myself up for more frustration!!!!!

do you have a Firehawk? I hope the collision damage isn't in the front. good luck getting a hood and nosepiece. Someone had an OEM hood on here for sale a couple of weeks ago

When my 95 Firehawk was almost totaled I took it to a place off of hwy 6 and Bissonet. I can get the name and pics for you if you want- they did a pretty good job- but painted my GTO a couple of years later and the clear coat peeled in about a year.
Actually- Bear Creek Maaco just painted my 25th anniv T/A base clear and did a better job for less than 1/2 the price.

Lane's Hi-Tech Collision Services does great work, plus he and his wife are f-body lovers and also members here.
Richey Collision like rooster99ss already mentioned does great work as well.
These two shops I know first hand will do great work, others I have no idea about.

A1 Auto on louetta in spring/tomball area does great work. He even gives a lifetime guarantee. He is huge into doing total repaints for prowlers for a prowler club ( i know not f-body's ) but he really does do amazing work. Just don't expect him to be the cheapest one in town. He's about to do my fire hawk as well. Don Ward is the guys name FYI

Worth it, costs more to fix down the line. If try and save money and the place does a crappy job, you have to look at it every time you see the car. The paint on my Trans Am, though garage kept, cars a 5 footer at best, but I'd still stick with my aged factory paint job then I would a crapppy repaint with runs and **** like that.
