Default Houston Tint shop recommendations?

Gonna get my windows tinted on the GT500. I don't know if I want to stay legal or not yet.

Is there any recommendations of shops that do quality work?

Infinity Tint by Texas Roadhouse on I45 (1960 area i think) did both the new camaros i have. Also did Nineballs Camaro and another friends camaro. VERY good work, VERY fast and very affordable. I couldn't be happier. I went with the high end ceramic tint and haven't had a single problem. Did it the same day I called and I want to say it was 200 bucks for the full car w/ tax.

I think they offer tints as low as 120/car.

Thanks guys. I'll probably check out Infinity now.

I just moved near I-10 and TC Jester so I really need to update my location/sig, etc.

Camaro-Sutra, I want a re-match once I get my pulley and tune ->

Ah ok, I know who this is now! Nice running you the first time I picked up a little power myself...Actually got a tune on the car (not the maggie tune) and a smaller pulley. Not much boost but 7.25lbs from 6.5lbs. That with the tune picked me up about 65rwhp from when we raced

Pulley/tune on your GT500 should put your car out of reach from the SS.

Thanks for the advice, I'll pm crager. I got a quote from Infinity at $159 with tax for as dark as I legally want to go with manufacturing warranty and all that bs. Think he can do a better job and/or beat the price?

I want it done right. I know Corvettes are hard to do because of the shape of the rear window and the "bumps" from the defroster I guess. Will I have a problem tinting over the lines on my rear window?

Nice power gain for such a simple operation. I'm looking to swap from a 3" pulley to a 2.6" and gain ~3-4 lbs of boost.

I'll let you know as soon as I get it done. I've already got a long list of things I want to do to the car but pulley/tune is definitely up near the top.

What did it make stock? Do some baselines so you have a good idea what it makes! Nice thing about those GT500s is they like boost and handle the increases VERY well.

he does a good job. did my friends c6 and those are beastly.
i had a guy in FL do my ws6 when i was there and he cut around the defroster lines, but i've seen a few lay it over the lines with no problems. i'd ask to see what he can do on that first.

Thanks! I called him and he's supposed to come out Thursday and do it for $125. Crager also gave him a great recommendation.

I haven't been to the dyno. When you and I talked I think we figured they might lay down around 450 to the wheels. It's a good idea to do a before and after pulley and tune to see the actual gains.

Hope to see ya at a few more car shows, William. Wish the weather didn't suck so I could make it to cars and coffee tomorrow too.

Try the flea market on 59n and little york. They wanted 40 bucks to remove and replace the tint on the driver and passenger doors. Call me cheap but at least they know what they are doing.

PM sent. I'm getting my GT500 done, which has the two small windows behind the driver and passenger side windows, so an F-body may be even cheaper than $125. Rear window will be easier on my car though..

The dude is coming Thursday afternoon to tint the 500. I'll let ya know how good of a job he does.
