Default anyone near garland wanna help me install an alternator on my ss??

Alternators are easy to replace. I got it down to taking it off and back on in about 20 minutes since I have had to replace too many times.

what day justin? Do you have the part? New or used? Do you have that new clutch yet?

dont have the clutch yet man........the alternator will be here by the weekend......probably this weekends best.

just becarefull with the small/short wire on the back I have changed it before , but I still broke it last time at which point I spliced another 6" it it

I may be able to help if I am feeling good enough sunday, im getting my wisdom teeth pulled tomorrow so i'll have to wait and see.

Had all four of my wisdom teeth pulled went right to work doesn't feel bad. Where the hell the part coming from? I can can see what I can get one for.

Yeah im dreading it but they are all out so its not going to be oral surgery just extractions, so hopefully it wont hurt as bad as the surgical removal.

Oh and if you dont get the part till next week then I would think I would be fine by then. Anyway like in the link I posted you may want to consider getting a used truck alternator. Either way its an extremely easy job to do, I have done it so many times on mine because off the shelf alternators are such low quality.

Edit: where are you getting the alternator? is it from a parts store or custom builder?

its from en ebay acution this place in cali they are shipping today.....i wish i had seen the truck alternator thread but rest assured next time thats what im gonna use ill post up when it comes in...

When would you want to do it? My face is still hurting a little from the surgery but if you need it sooner than later I can probably do it tomorrow evening, if nothing else I should be pretty free Sunday.
