I signed 2 days ago, move in is
Aug 8... But I've changed my mind, is there
Anyway to get out of it?

nope....you're gonna lose your deposit, try and get a sublease...

If I back out, would I only lose my deposit? Without any other penalties? Ie broken lease etc.

And to sublet is $719... My deposit was only $200 so I don't care as much about losing it.

Tell them that your job is moving you- if you got the 'corporate deal' they usually have it listed that if your job moves you can get out of the lease.

Our old apartments had a clause where if you bought a house you could get out of the lease.

I thought there was some rule in TX about having 72 hrs to get out of a written contract? had people back out all the time when I sold gym memberships.

Look at your contract real close.

last shot- tell them that you lost your job and will not be able to pay them and would be willing to lose your deposit rather than not pay and them have to deal with evicting you.

I had a friend bail on me as a roomate once and when we bought our first house we had to get out of our lease.
