Carfax and a dealer vin check won't tell you for certain. Have an experienced bodyshop look it over.

Do you see any sign (paint lines in the seams or under the hood, trunk, etc).

^^ what he said. Carfax won't tell you anything unless it was an citation or insurance claim, and then not always for sure... and GM won't know anything unless it's serviced/fixed at a GM dealer.

I did the unlimited carfax one month for fun, and ran every one of my friends cars that they knew the whole history of. of the 7 cars, there had been 12 accidents on those 7 cars.

Know what carfax turned up........ Not a damn thing.

My friend just made a point that all carfax is good for is if you believe it, and it's clean then your resale will be higher... if that person believes it too....

Sounds like you just need to walk away and find another from a reasonable person.

from wikipedia

Vehicle title branding is the use of a permanent designation on a vehicle's title, registration or permit documents to indicate that a vehicle has been written off due to collision, fire or flood damage or has been sold for scrap.

The designation or brand is mandatory in most provinces and states in North America when an insurer or vehicle owner writes off a vehicle as a "total loss". Typically this means the cost to repair the vehicle would equal or exceed the car's value, although legal definitions vary.

I knew there was a problem but I look @ the car yesterday again car has 78k miles (no ses light) I look @ body no damage or dings, under the hood, under the car, no frame damage, got a magnet & checked the entire body, I made sure i took it to autozone to see any codes came up nothing, everything good from what I've seen, air bags still indash & steering wheel.
What else should I check for?
Price ok for 06 g6 se 78kmiles $7500??

Salvage title - take 40-50% off of book right off the top, even if properly repaired. The warranty is null, and no bank will loan on it. IF you just want a driver to drive until it's dead, AND you're paying cash and don't care that it was hit, you MIGHT get a car that will work for you.
