Trade you for an 89 RS with a 305, manual trans, hard top with no AC or power steering, runs pretty good...

In the neighborhood of 6-7k. But realistically it's worth what someone is willing to pay for it. 6-7k is the Blue Book that a bank would loan on it.

LOL, i would not trade my car for a newer f body, considering it is a toy, it is worth too much to me and i could not get what i want for it if i did want to trade for anything. Has too much money in parts and my blood, sweat and more blood in it.

just a heads up bro.
but im thinking it may be cheeper to use oil instead of blood and prolly easier to use coolant instead of tears.

The bank will lend about $6700 to $7000. But if the buyer has the extra money then skys the limit.

A real world price would be $9 to $10k if it has less that 95k miles and is really clean. More than 105k $8k+.

Throw it up for $9500 or so and hold firm.

$9500 firm he will never sell it. When are all you people going to learn that you can't just say I want this much for my 8-12 yr old car because they don't make them anymore? Do some shopping and you will see what I am talking about. I know where there is a Z/28 for 15k with 45k worth of mods and upgrades that he can't sell. That is a real world price that buyers are not willling to pay for due to the economy.

Because it's a heads/cam car. If it was stock $6500 to $7000 would be a good sell. $8500 or so would good depending on miles because of the mods. I would put it on craigslist for $9500 for a while and see what happens. When I was looking for cars I looked at a few z28's for $8500 with 100k stock and a few of them sold out from under me, so people are willing to pay that.
It all depends on the miles and how clean it is.

yea, after looking at cl & autotrader i found that similar cars are being priced a little stronger than i expected. i only saw one car priced at what i thought was a real screaming deal. it seems like there were more "deals" about a year ago than now.
also if anyone has contact info on the car mentioned earlier that has 45k in mods who is asking 15k pass it along if its streetable.

most people dont wanna buy a car that is heavily modded i.e. heads/cam i know i dont, when i was looking for a car i only wanted a stock car or a car that just had minor **** like exhaust and a lid... the less mods means the lesser the chances of that car being malested during it's life.

not necessarily true, could be somebody that wanted to mod, but don't have the money, so just rags the **** out of stock cars (ask me how I know, went through this with my last stock car I bought)

At least I know with a heads/cam car that if the person spent that many thousand dollars on upgrades, chances are they also spent the time and money to properly maintain the car, just my thoughts on the matter

I got the 02 Z in my sig for 7k off craigslist. Only thing it's got done is a bullshit flowmaster exhaust and some 17's. Loaded inside with only 81K on the clock. Body is straight and interior is a 8 out of 10. The older lady I got it from was asking 8k for it and I told her before I even went to look at it that even if I liked it alot I would only pay her 7k for it. She said that was fine. So I went and looked at it and drove it home.

I think I got a good deal on it. But if y'all think I didn't then please let me know. I'll try to get some pics up shortly if I can figure up how to do it on this damn Iphone.
