Why the need for a box? If you can, get a large bottle of Lambrusco red wine. It has good flavor and is CHEAP! You can get it at any store that sells wine. If you are afraid of it breaking, stick it inside of a styrofoam ice chest.

I have heard that some of the wineries have started to use Boxed wine more because something about it is better than the standard bottle/cork setup (perhaps it keeps it fresher, tastes better, not sure). That being said, I've yet to really see any in that and get most of my wines from Texas Hill Country anyway.

I go to Specs with so many random questions LOL! Luckly my friend Ryan works there (Well as of a few months ago) so I'm not "that guy". I live right down the street from the Pearland Parkway one.

Tip-it!
I drink a lot of wine. I don't like reds unless they are berry. A local winery has a blackberry wine I really enjoy. It's sweet, smooth, not dry (biggest complaint about most reds) and it's refreshing. It's easy to drink 2 glasses in 10 minutes.
I support ALL my local wineries and even head up a 5 stop winery tour with freinds on our way to Oktoberfest. I've probably been to over 20 wineries just in the South East.
Beer is my hobby and I like it more than wine. First thing I look up when I go on travel is where the closest micro-brewery is. I even got a beer glass collection in my garage and have visited micro-breweries as far away as Shanghai China!
As for a recommendation for boxed wine, I can't give you one b/c I haven't had it since college and I don't recall the name. I say go with something sweet or nondry b/c the majority of ppl that don't drink wine much can even like it, and statistically more ppl with like it. Anything that says White Zin is a good bet. Blush would be second.
