Default So, my rooommate (landlord) woke up this morning to his truck on blocks!

Apparently, there's a group stealing 20" wheels and tires off Silverados, particularly Texas Edition I believe. I also heard about wheels and tires from 25 trucks were taken from a dealership.

It's ridiculous. Working at a dealership here in Sugarland I see it often.. Too often. All have been the 20's and most were texas edition...

Forget locking lugs. I want someone to invent flame-throwing lugs.

this is close...since car jacking is so rampant in South Africa, a company has developed a flamethrower anti-theft weapon

lug keys will only slow those ******** down.

if you don't want anyone taking your **** - get a garage.

both of my cars have 20's or bigger.

i made the mistake last year of leaving one of my cars out for about 3 hours one night. woke up to my neighbor telling me that a couple of kids were ******* with my car.

come to find out they took (4) 7" headrest TV's, a 21" Insignia TV that i had mounted onto my custom box and my PS3 with all my HDMI cables.

everything but the PS3 has been replaced, but just to fill ya'll in - i got about 11 rounds off. i didn't hit anybody but i seriously scared the ghetto out of those *******.

Curious, what did the police say about this?

police only got the information for what they were called out for.

when the cop came out, he saw my car had been broken into - he saw some of my custom box laying in the driveway, he saw all my headrest TV's gone, he saw the moiunting bracket to my 21" TV and then i brought him pictures of what the car looked like before.

i told him my neighbor frantically rang my doorbell to tell me what was happening, then i told him in what direction the two kids ran with my **** and then i told him i went and called the cops.

i didn't tell him that shortly after my neighbor told me some kids took my **** that i ran upstairs and grabbed my gun, came back outside and jumped in my other car and followed them down a ditch behind our subdivision, encountered them, and then made some noise with Mr. Glock.

it was awesome - these kids (who were about 14-16 years old) jumped a 8-10" ditch like you wouldn't believe. before they jumped the ditch i got off about 5 rounds. then we started yelling at eachotehr from across the ditch. one kid hit the deck in some apparent panic attack, HAHA !!!! when they got up i got off about 5 or 6 more rounds (just shooting into the ditch because i knew it would have been a mess to actually hit them).

they dropped my PS3 which i sold to my sister in law for $200.

my (5) TV's were gone though

it's my wife's car - she drives the kids to grandma's house everyday and picks them up everyday. this is pretty much what it looks like now, minus the PS3.

it's awesome when you turn the TV's on for them. they don't act bad, HAHA !!!!

Same thing happened to my neighbor's truck a couple of months ago.

Putting that much money into Tv's and audio inside a vehicle is just an invitation for people to come and break into it imo.

So whats the point of putting the tvs in the back headrests sir... obviously you're not going to put you're kids in the very back by the big tv...???? Obviously thats an invitation for "STEAL ME STEAL ME"

The tow truck driver who picked up the truck told us a way to stop them. He said run an extension cord out to the truck. He said the ******* don't know whether or not it has an alarm, if it will electrocute them if they touch it or what. lol. It's worked for his son who lives near the medical center, he said.
