Most likely it is the weather stripping.

Our cars (mine is a 2002 as well) are 8 years old and with out proper care for them and conditioning, they will deteriorate.

If you do end up getting new weather stripping, be sure to condition them after every wash. That will help prolong the life of them and keep them looking new.

Yeah, but then you have the much bigger problem of owning a mustang.

There's a lot about not owning an F-Body I don't miss. I agree with the above statement except when the weather cools off and you can actual take them off and enjoy them.

Mine leaks at all the weather stripping beginning/end points, right on the crack where they meet.

I was thinking of putting a thin bead of RTV or sealant or something, its rather annoying =/

Buy a little tub of vasaline and rub it on your weather stripping. My driver side will let a but of water in at both the front and rear meeting points of the t top, but the vasaline will soak into the rubber and fatten or swell it up a bit. Depending on how bad the leak is it will either help or fix it. Makes the windows a bit messy but it's worth not having your pant leg look like you pissed your pocket.

Okay so, I have a question... I have had weather stripping replaced on my car, so the t tops dont leak anymore.. YET when it rains the passenger side floor board has water on it ( behind the seat ).... Like I have sat in the back seat of the car while it rained just to see where it was coming from and i have NO idea.. Water just appears, is bs!!! Anyone have any ideas?

looks like im the only one without any leaks, knock on wood. today was definitely the day to test it too, i went outside at first break around 9 and it was f'n pouring, i stood under the covered walkway that goes around my building to smoke and i looked like i went wading knee deep in a lake.

If you do decide to replace the weather stripping, I would probably get it from gmpartsdirect. Seems to be quite a bit cheaper than a dealership as with anything. Would still be pricey I would assume. But post back up after you vaseline that bad boy up. Im pretty sure you will be happy with it. I usually cake it on there, let it sit for a few days, then wipe off the excess.

Check to see if the flood drain plugs are installed correctly or missing. They are black round flat plugs.

I got the same thing going, on, my relativly low mile CETA, that has never had any leaks or even t-top whistles, the rear passenger floorborad jsut started filling with water this last week.
