I work at T-Mobile and let me give you an observation of people. People who have Iphone love Iphone. People who have blackberry love black berry. And people who have android love android. 85-90% of the people who have these phone when they switch operating systems will return the phone and go back to their old platform that they are used to. Your probably not going to like the BB. BB users are the worst. They will probably never switch from a BB and if they do they will go back. Android is next. People LOVE ANDROID! Many are in it for the customization, IMO better market place, and non limiting factor of the Iphone. Some even provide Iphone feels, T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S Vibrant... Iphone users are more prone to switch but only over to android because android seems to give us Iphone users more of what we want. (Yes I did say US Iphone users.. I have an Iphone 4. Ironic?)(Long story short it was a gift).

i traded my 3g for a bb bold when the first came out....well i hated the bold with a passion. only had it for about a month and sold it to buy another i phone.
before my 3g i had a g1.... i will agree with what gtracer said. iphone user are more inclined to switch over to an android phone. due to several reasons.
but i promise you if you get a bb you'll hate it having had an iphone.
just my $.02

I have had blackberry's for work for the past 4 years. It does what I need it to. I would not consider it comparable to an IPhone / Android phone. It just depends on what you need the phone for.
The one thing I can say about a Blackberry. I have never broken one. I have put mine through hell and they just keep working.

I have the Tmobile Samsung vibrant and overall its a very nice phone. Much more open to customization than the iphone. The Market for android isnot as good as the App store yet but I think thats mostly because the market has not been around as long as the app store. I had an Iphone 3G previously and as a data device it was awesome, however as a phone it absolutely sucked *****. I bet I had 35-40% of my calls dropped on my iphone, thats the reason I left AT&T is because of their shitty *** network. If the Iphone ever goes to another carrier I might go back but not as long as they are with AT&T.

I think the real question is what do you use it for.
I have both and like both for their purposes. I use my BB for work only, and i feel it is the best thing for work and people who use email a lot. My iphone is a personal phone and i love it for all the other features it offers. I am not a big fan of email and iphones it does not seam to work as good.
I think the majority of people that complain about and dislike BB are the ones who have a touch screen BB. The touch screen BB's are junk. BB should of just stuck with their game and stayed out of that market.
