Exterior Mod progression *New Pics*
**Edit: Black Grilled and now Lowered on H&Rs**
Had the car for about 6 months now, and after getting the bolt on out of the way, decided to get an exterior mod.
Thanks to kingralphthe3rd for the grille. It shall be enjoyed.

change the upper trim to black or have the piece wrapped in black vinyl, but leave the emblem like it is... IMHO, it looks a little off the way it is now.
the mod looks nice, but while you are at it invest in one of these: ditch the front plate: click here
that will clean the front up alot

I took the front plate on my 1st gen V, trimmed about 1/4" off the top and bottom, then put it in my lower grill and zip tied it into place. Looked better than poking off the front of the bumper IMHO. Plus, the way it sits, it looks like it was tucked in on the top and bottom, not trimmed.

it is...when i moved down here from St Loius, i didnt have a front plate on my truck. i was told at the gate that i had to get one put by the next day (helped that i had my orders to show that i was new) or i would not be allowed to drive on base. if i had out of state plates, different story...haha.

i am station at Dyess AFB, and they gate guards are now contractors. and the are the ones that give the most **** to people. i think its because they couldnt hack it in the military, so now they are taking it out on the people who can.
and its funny you say that...because i ordered some H&Rs and MightyMouse spacers today. should be here beginning of next week, or end of this week.

When i first got stationed here (at Dyess also) i still had Florida plates on my car, one of the gate gaurds tried to tell me i couldn't come on base, it took some arguing to finally be able to go to work.. Its funny how they think that just because Texas requires 2 plates that every other state does too.
Nice car BTW!!
