dfw, anyone hiring??? a close friend of mine recently got laid off
i feel bad because he is a go getter type of guy and will more than earn his keep but everything has been going against him
recently married, just had a baby, has had to move in with his wife's parents because of funds
his most recent experience
has been a manager for sonic, ran the place by himself, called the shots and was responsible for all the funds made each day and made nightly deposits to the bank..... trusted with lots of cash every night at close
he got offered another job for a higher salary so he changed & worked in an office environment handling national accounts for mouser electronics...... company downsized / was laid off
while looking for a decent paying job he worked at a landscaping company as a ditch digger in the summer heat, he couldnt find anything else at the moment & he has a wife & kid to take care of....... very hard work everyday and i never heard him complain....... company downsized / was laid off *actually i think this company went out of business right after the lay offs
got a job at a company that transfers paper files from hospitals to flash drive memory on a computer...... was responsible for company truck & important hospital records, files & storage........ company downsized / was laid off
got a job as an electrician helper, got all excited wanting to learn to be a master electrician....... company downsized / was just laid off
needless to say, is anyone hiring or know of a place hiring in the DFW???
