Default Acura Integras??

Anyone owned one before or know anyone that has? I found a 99 I'm thinking about getting for a DD, priced about what the bluebook is on it, just wandering how dependable they are, etc. Just a little 4-banger to drive to work and to the grocery store, etc.

just like any other Honda/Acura, if it was maintained even half-assed and not abused by a HS kid then it will run forever!

any more info? milage? options? pics? online ad where the car is for sale?

a girl drove it while in school at austin. the tires are basically new it looks like, it's a 99, 190K miles, sunroof, leather, automatic. It's actually right down the road from my house, I seen it today when going to town from work. Body is straight, no dents, or cracked windshield, her dad said everything works, i.e. a/c, heat, cc, etc.

sounds like a decent car other than the high milage, but if it feel good on a test drive and the price is right, i would go for it.

for some reason imports are more likely to be stolen for parts. seems the import 'scene' consists of 10% mature enthusiasts, 60% "ricers" and 30% trashy people that mod them and then steal them for more parts to use.

I'll be sure to ask if the timing belt has ever been changed and transmission service records....thanks for all the heads-up info. to check on before I buy something that isn't what it appears...I just want a dependable dd so I can put the t/a up inside for a while to drive on pretty days....

Def check in to timing belt. They say to chang the water pump at the same time, quite costly. Had a 95 integra. Sold to a friend, has 225,00 miles and still runs like a champ. Do check the tranny fluid to, probably never changed. DD 2003 Accord w/ 125,000 miles.
Wife 2010 Acura TSX. Some may disagree but I swear by these cars. Not one has ever done me wrong. Good Luck!

I would get that done before I drove it anywhere. If that belt goes, it will get real $$$ in a hurry. My buddy learned this the hard way.

Lol, I had an '01 Type-R when I was much younger. It just had bolt ons and appearance mods. It was a great little car actually, and had some get-up. I got rid of it when I got into muscle though. Wish I would have kept it for a dd now.

I own a 96 se for for my dd. They are great lil cars, good on gas, and very dependable. I have not had a single issue with mine exept for having to replace a brakr linea. I say go for it! You are going to like it as a dd
