Are you doing a cam swap? Why do you want a new oil pump? My stock 02 oil pump was working great (50 psi at a warm idle) at 136,000 miles before my cam. My oil pressure has ever since been lower with the SLP oil pump (Melling 10296).

Also, im pretty sure they are not the same.

If your oil pressure is fine right now no need to do all that work for nothing.. But if it will ease your mind get a tsp ls6 pump.

While your in there upgrade that timing chain.
