Putting the RS down...
Wrecked into a Ford truck attempting to avoid a collision, so i will be putting the 6.0 and 12 bolt into the 86 Trans Am now, i will hang on to the 6 speed for another third gen with a LS swap in the future, it will be a 4.8 probably, cammed, 7800 RPM, just dont need a 6.0 for the street anymore i guess:

Frame is bent, the cost to fix VS buying a roller and selling any good parts off the old body or not needed parts from the new will put me ahead.
Just going to look for a factory 5 speed car. Not happy but not mad either. Glad it was not worse, I can fix the hood. I wanted to put it back to street trim and a craigs list car will set me ahead by a lot. I do wish it was just the fender, but it is much more.

It sucks in general Jessie, but i am not that forked up about it.
It is, it is just a car, my favorite, but financially, i am not hurt by it and that is what is making it be acceptable. Next one will be even nicer.
Will see, the TA still runs fine, just gets warm.
A 4.8 you mean? They have a smaller stroke so the piston speed is not the same at any given RPM compared to the 5.3, 5.7, 6.0 and 6.2. It has been done, i want to see what it sounds like and how much i can get from a 4.8, not to mention, if it breaks, it is stupid cheap to fix.

Sucks man I was really into your car during my ls swapped thirdgen adventure. but to add 7800 rpms isnt impossible by any means, hell CLSC's shop car has revved to 7900 and thats with a 4" stroke.. Short stroke big bore motor might be my next project should be fun with a turbo and a glide
