Video of the new CTS-V 1/4 mile record
Not to bad for a daily driver with 100 shot
-Quickest CTS-V
-Fastest/quickest stock short block CTS-V
-I think its also the fastest/quickest stock trans car, but who knows. I'm reaching now lol
First pass off the highway showed us the car was going to run well. We went 9.88, first time EVER turning the nitrous on. Keep in mind this car is in the exact same trim as it was for the 10.3x passes but we've turned on the spray, which is only 100 shot. Tune up was not aggressive at all. I fully expect to go 9.50's@143+ with a stock motor.
We ended up going 9.76@141 then backed it up with 9.77@140. This was with a pretty bad track and 30+ mph head wind. So she's got plenty left, either way though the car is working very well for what it is. Still FULL WEIGHT + some
Also drove to the track and drove home, street radials, no slicks, blah blah blah.
Some randoms from the track
Not a bad outing for our first time on spray!
Big thanks to my buddy Ryan@Prosource Autosports for helping me out and putting the car together. Sam as well, he's got the tune up nailed on this thing.
As well as that a big thanks go out to KDI, Gforce, Nitrous Outlet, Presence Distribution, Dallas Performance, and I'm sure I'm missing a few.
Be on the look out, when good air comes in we plan on doing much better then this if we can find a track to hold the nitrous faster. There is some go pro footage that I will post up later tonight or tomorrow

Mod list
-KDi 102mm ported blower/snout
-NW 102mm Throttle body
-Nitrous Outlet spray bar system
-Nitrous Outlet nitrous fuel system
-New Era intake with big green filter
-Stainless Works full exhaust with no cats.
-Dallas Performance D6 blower cam
-WCCH stage 2.5 LSA heads
-LS9 head gaskets, ARP head studs
-Fluidyne HX
-Norcal Ice box
-KW coilovers
-Weld rear wheels
-9.5/2.55 pulley combo
Car makes 68x on 93 octane and boost, then 833 is the only nitrous dyno we did. That pull was from 4500-6000rpms, then we shut it down. Car is probably making 850+ on nitrous I'd say.
The car actually only ran 10.51 on boost yesterday then we got into the nitrous tune up. I really do think its very capable of 9.50's in this current trim, it may take using a slick but we'll see.

Will, I'm smiling about your Dallas sandbag statement that "only 100-shot" added (850-680=170) to the combo. I added a 100-shot to my Viper and picked up 95 rwhp.
I've seen a handful of boosted cars pick up 20-30 more than the jet rating, but never seen any that nearly doubled the jet rating before.

It makes around 690 on boost, and made 833 on spray on the dyno. Who knows what power it is actually making

Picking up 143+ rwhp from nitrous in an automatic, is closer to 165 hp when you factor in drivetrain loss.
I also run a Nitrous Outlet wet kit, spec'd out by Dave. 100 rwhp dual fogger added 95 rwhp. If I recall, it was dual 0.028" nitrous jets. I snapped a pic, can check later.
You ran 10.51 without the bottle that night, how much difference in trap speed vs the bottle run?

It's fast, it's a stock short block car, it's on a small pill and regardless of the amount of spray...it still went a 141 mph in a 30 mph head wind.
Congrats Will, it's rollin right along.
