Default Bought a new Daily: Dmax content

Traded my paid 06 Crew Cab Dually LBZ for this 09 Crew Cab 2500HD. She had 42,300 miles on her.

My LBZ:

New LMM the day I bought her:

Ordered rims and tires next day, plus pushed keys up 1.25 on both sides:

She now has: EFI live with DSP 5 switch, EGR block, PCV re-route, Air Dog II 165, Diamond Eye down pipe, DPF delete and 5" MBRP to 6" tip. Sounds awesome, whistles like crazy and its on a bad as clean tune!

Thanks for looking.

Yeah, these diesels NEED tuners lol. Gonna be hard getting a hold of a tuner for that 2012 lol I stayed away from the 2011+ GM trucks because of that lol Good luck bro!

nice pick em up truck!

you doing the tunin yourself? I'm on the fence between just buying a can tune or trying to figure it out on the HPT

I know EFI Live dominates the diesel world

Well, I've driven (2) 5.3 2010+ trucks and I could NOT stand the transmission in those trucks. PLUS, they needed tunes. I know those 5.3's are strong motors, but for trucks, diesel can't be beat in my eyes. Yes, they are far more expensive out of the gate, but they will last a LONG time provided you take care of them like any vehicle.

I got the Autocal from Alligator and it was just as much as the PPE I had on the LBZ. EXCEPT, it's EFI live and not a canned tuner. Runs so much harder and doesn't smoke at all. And being able to switch between tunes on the fly is A-W-E-S-O-M-E! Pretty deceptive from another trucks point of view

I bought my 08 LMM 3 weeks ago. Had 54511 when I test drove it. When we get some overtime back in the shop, I'm going to do a EGR/DPF delete, EFI live to it. I love this truck the way it is. I like the front ends on the LMM/LML better than the LBZ. Check out this forum: http://www.duramaxforum.com/forum/
it's very good for the Dmax's.
