Default 69 Chevelle 4.8 swap wont start?

Guys I'm at a loss here, the only thing I can think of is the VATS isn't tuned out, but LMR isn't exactly right around the corner to have them re-check it. The car just fires and dies.

I've cranked the car with the plug wires off, the coils are firing. I've cranked it with the injectors out and watched them shoot fuel. Also has the proper fuel pressure.

What else can it be? It has everything needed to run. It's getting ridiculous now. It only took a day to pull the 350 and install the 4.8 and another to rework the harness and wire it. Yet two weeks later I'm still staring at it. There are no codes other than for the TPS as I got the wrong year DBW box. The MAF and O2's are unplugged but that shouldn't affect it.

We have a line of people waiting to pick the car up but of course it can't be sold not running. Excuse the wiring, just temporary trouble shooting.

For some reason when I let the pressure out of the rails and turn the key quickly it will fire up and run a couple seconds. But with a gauge it's always around 58. Any hints? Probably a fuel issue.

its just a guess, but check ign relay/fuse block, reseat and/or swap with starter relay, should be the same...seem like you have fuel, fire and air...

What transmission are you using? I had a 67 Camaro LS1 swap act similar and the neutral safety switch for the transmission had gone out during the swap.

It has a built th400 in it, I'll check everything mentioned when I get home. Car has fresh gas but the injectors have 170k. They're firing but maybe not enough.

My friend kept purging the rails a week ago with the pressure gauge and said some nastiness came out at first and had the car idling shitty at one point. I heard it run once and then cleaned up the wiring, now it's back to its old self.

I'm definitely burnt out at this point. Ill put some pics of the car up later.

Any reason why the car runs at WOT? Or is the starting fluid making it rev up?

if u got all these people lining up to buy, dont it make sense to pay somebody who actually knows what they are doing? and pay them to get it going. if youve been staring at it for 2 weeks and cant figure it out. its not gonna magically fix itself

The injectors squirt fuel but maybe I should soak them anyways. What do I soak them in? I forgot what I used last time.

Im not a big supporter of the "retardedpenguin" but this is a little overboard man.. Give the guy props he does a lot of work and it keeps him busy and makes money.. Hell I do a ton of **** that I **** up on, its the only way to learn. Not all of us are handed our lives on a silver tray ( not saying you are ) but people have to start somewhere.
