Default 97 SS SLP air filter box. Whats it worth?

My car has an LS in it now so the original SLP air filter box doesn't fit and I'm debating if I should sell it. So like the title says: What is it worth? White lettering is a little faded but other than that its all good.

If it's complete, then quite a bit. The LT1 SS and Ram Air induction boxes are starting to get to tough to find. The Ram Air Boxes that were complete sell for 350-500$.

Yeah I figured it was somewhere in that range because I saw a WS6 one for sale her 400. It sold but I don't know for how much.

Jason Debler on CZ28.com had an article where he compared a traditional LT1 CAI to the SS one. Car picked up power ditching that thing. History repeats it's self, who knows some of these parts would be worth what they are.

Agreed. When I sold the car everything went with it. The 17" white rims, 5 extra white center caps, a spare GM 17" white wheel, and an entire extra orange stripe set, as the car was a white on white 97 anniversary edition. Still had the "SLP" decal'd packing tape from the stripes

Man... I miss that car now.

I got mine for $75, but that was a good deal. I usually see them go for around $150-200.

There used to be an option with those cars were you could get the expensive *** Konis the 1LE cars got. They had another option where you could get a spare set of wheel with R compound tires. It was a cool program.

Man I miss my 96 SS. I bought sold cars and parts for 2 years and I bought it brand new my senior year of HS but like all of us when we were young dumb and full of ***. I hot rodded the ever living **** out of her and sent her out in a blaze of glory. That car saved my young dumb *** I should have not walked away from that one. Car got murdered by me in 99.

I actually think the airbox is still in the attic at our shop somewhere. I know the stock catback is up there took it off with 5 miles on it.

that stock catback could bring you some good money. just gotta find someone trying to restore one. those are prob just as hard if not harder to find then the stock air box. put one on an old friends car a few years back. that exhaust sounded great with lt and ory.
