Default Car hauler Sugar Land to Spring

If some one has a car hauler and wants to make some cash let me know. An open trailer would be fine. Far as date goes, it would be the 24th of this month which is a Sunday. Need to have it picked up and dropped off at a paint shop. The car won't have an engine in it.

Prestige Towing has done work for me in the past. They flat bedded an s-10 from Stafford to Cypress area last year for me. $100 even.

I would just call a flatbed. Doubt you'll save much $ trying to get somebody to trailer it for you, and the towing company will be insured.

I think we're just going to use a buddies enclosed trailer, some of the quotes I got from the flat bed places were $250+.

93 needs no fancy paint. Krylon is $4/can. Do work.

That's hardly possible when the car itself is a stereotype.

The lack of photos in this thread is upsetting.

D-Money,

I took some pictures, once I get some construction paper I'll make a collage.

Of Cops Episodes, $5 cards in the mail on a kids birthday, Gas Station Beer Island specials, removal of restrictor plates to let the dragon breathe fire, shot gun weddings? Well if the tuxedo short fits, then it most be worn in a manner befitting of the vehicle in question.

I seem to remember a lot of people on this site bashing third gens a few years ago too... Now they are in high demand.

I think your just a few years ahead of the curve. Same reason I still have my red 95 Hawk

Not sure why there is so much hate for LT1's? Neil has the cleanest one around!

Thanks Daniel, this set up has been a really long time coming but it should be fun when it's done. The goal after this is to get the car repainted.

Jeremy,

I still want a Formula 350, they have gone up some in price. Just so few nice ones left but they're still out there.

I love what you've done with the car Neil. It is going to sound nasty with that motor in it!

Can't wait to see this car done. Lots of time invested in it. Sticking with factory color? Really glad you held on to this car- it's pretty easy to throw in the towel a few years into the project.

I have pretty much given up on finding a clean yellow formula 350. Actually considering building a Knight Rider KITT.

Almost done with my General Lee and since I already have a Bandit TA it seems like the next logical step. Seriously though I am out of room- 72 Formula is at the body shop and the 66 GTO is sitting on the Patio.

It'll be the original red or close to it, the engine bay will be a satin black. This was my first car, I think that made me hold on to it more than anything. It'll be cool to build a set up I would have wanted when I was 16. When my dad bought me this car for my 16th Birthday in '00 we took it to MTI to be inspected to make sure nothing was wrong with it. It was actually Jeff Mandry with the twin turbo fox body was the one who looked it over. But from then on I would see cars like Nick's C4 and Dave Lewis Firehawk and it was always kind of like one day I'll have a set up like that. Thanks Tiago at Force fed Fabrication it'll actually happen.

Any updates / pics on this project? If I remember correctly it was pretty clean to start with.

It's back together again, the car it self didn't fight all to bad but the Stef's Oil pan and tubular K fought us. Nothing that wasn't fixable but slowed down progress a bit. Biggest gotcha was when we tried to put the oil filter on. With 1 7/8" headers and stock pan it was tight before, with the bigger pan there wasn't any room physically to pass the filter through. Which required the oil filter to be relocated. Tiago did an awesome job on the car, not sure how much of a help I was to him. Even Seafish helped because despite owning a Supra and GTR(s) he still has an inner domestic side that he keeps locked down with euro trash music. After tuning and some other little odds and ends the car will go to paint.
