Default New Vette

To me at least. 4th vette and 3rd C5. Car has 32,000 miles on it, and has a few bolt on parts that make it a bit quicker. I'll have Mikey retune it after we install new heads. Hope it makes 600hp after the changes.

Thanks buddy! I've kept track of your NA Fbody build. Car is sweet! Do you still have the FRC and C6? See you back at the strip I'm sure!

Thank you, Santos! Damn, you've really stepped that car up since running 9's on the stock block. Any new times you are willing to disclose?

Thanks! I'm pretty sure we can hit 600 with it. I'll have to wait though to see the final numbers.

Thank you Derrick. I honked at you a few weeks back somewhere around the Country Club in my work Van. Your C5 still looked sharp. Hope all is well.

Thanks, Neil! It's long overdue for sure! Haven't seen any C5's breaking any hearts these days at TI, ETC, but I hope to be fairly competive in the C-D team rankings.

Ill have about 1300 to 1350rwhp on tap by next year. I'm just hitting fishing and hunting too hard now to play with cars. New whip is nice. Welcome back to the C5 trash club.

Very nice, Joe M. The car is putting down 800's now, but I'd like to step it up a bit and see 900-1000 for the street but keep it in the 800's if I get back to drag racing. It's a Novi 2500@22psi now, but the compression is 8.5:1. I'd like to have it at 10.5:1, but no way with the pistons and I'm not changing the brand new block right now. So a head swap is in order.

Both my boats are in SPI. I've fished almost every week for the last 14 months except the last 3 weeks. Went 13-14 weeks being down there, so I know how it goes! And it's fixing to be prime time down there in about 2 weeks. You should come down!

I'm guessing you're going with a big *** single setup like Ty?

Nope my TTIX 6266's was hitting like 18 to 19 psi to the 1250. We did a 21 psi pull but it didn't register. New setup will be all LS7 top end and a metalcraft intake. So it will be interesting. Im down to fish bro. LMK Ill be at my ranch this weekend coming up to hunt the doves then the next weekend and staying for 6 days to stock up. You got a good combo right off the bat. 1K will be no problem once the new impellers are released.

That's the goal, Joe. No plans to take the car over 1000rwhp. Stock crank, on a 346. The 2500 should yank on the snout pretty hard.

Just swapping the heads and leaning on the car should hit close to 1000. I'll pull it back for the track.

Hope to see you all soon. It will be nice not being MIA.

No kidding, I am glad that you'll be out of the water and I'll have someone to race with again. Time to get ready for the Mile!

What fuel is the car on?
