Default Will a 295/45/17 fit under a lowered C5Z06

Thinking about running a 295/45/17 and was wondering if it will fit. If you are running this combo post a pic for me thanks.

I run a 305 on an 18 inch wheel on my FRC and it's lowered, I don't think you'll have any problems

Yes. Only problem I've had with that tire on a lowered corvette was when the car was strapped on a raised dyno where the straps pulled the car down and they rubbed. Great tire for 750-900rwhp.

I assume you mean 295's on the front, considering 295 rear is stock?

That said, 295 seems like way too much tire on the front unless it's a track car..

A 295/45-17 is not a stock corvette size. The OP is most likely referring to 295/45-17 MT drag radials.

Why would he have a 17 in wheel on the rear of his C5Z? Conversely, a MT 295 35 on the front makes no sense either....?? Maybe it's just me,....

lol these guys don't understand winters.

It's not the width that might pose a problem, it would be the height. Just depends on how low the car is.

I though I was the only freak.... was actually going to run this on my C5Z, bought some Fikse FM5s in 17, but sold the car before putting them on, still have the Fikse's sitting in the garage FTFML.

what is the diameter of that tire?... my tear tires are 27.4" and they clear for the most part... my driver side did wear a hole in the front part of my fender liner... that could have been caused when it was strapped down on the dyno or when racing, I've never heard it rub under normal conditions

Even has a visualizer to compare sizes.

I've found them to be a tall tire for their specs. I also was using either 9 inch wide Fbody or 9.5 inch wide after market vette wheels so a wider rim might help flatten them out a bit.
