Any factory parts on that thing? Still trying to see who has a stock piston, rod, crank and block running 4.9 at 140+ like those crazy fellas on YB have done with a 5.3.

A 6.0 at 240 with stock short block would be out of this world.

Lol, sc300 tried to use some stock LS wrist pins and I think they let go last time. He said they looked stronger if I remember what he was telling me. I need to ask if that was the issue, since the x275 mustang with the SBE 5.3 has been 4.9 at 142 last I checked. But then we are talking the stress on 8 cylinders, not 6. Seems it would be easier on a v8.

Lol..it wasn't the wrist pin that let go...I had ignition problems and hydrolocked the motor ..

we made 1200hp through a th400 on boost alone last week (36 psi) wanted to spray 225 but continued to have ignition problems..we can crank it up to 50 psi once we get it sorted out..

OEM block, OEM head with no porting, stock offset crank!!!!

It's no fun talking **** anymore..all the retards that used to talk **** finally wisened up..

Well, good to know, I didn't think those pins would take a dump but you never know. And no porting to the heads? Throw more boost at it! Lol
