Default How far is i10 from austin Texas

Hello everyone. I will be traveling i10 on my way from Florida to California. I want to visit someone in Austin. How many miles is Austin Texas from i10 ?

Id say around 60miles at most. You should be able to go on a map and figure it out that way.

Easiest route is to take Hwy 71 in Columbus, Tx. Exit is 695 on I-10.

This is the way I used to go before 290 bypassed waller etc. I would definitely still go this route if already traveling I-10, its the best way. 71 goes right into ATX...

I-10 is about fifty miles from Austin at its closest distance

If he takes this route he will be halfway to Houston, he is coming from California to Florida. If he were to be heading to California from Florida, I would agree that this would be one of the better ways to go.
