Default Need help with inspection in DFW!

Hello all,
I'm not new to the forum, just a new username due to my email getting hacked.
I have a 2010 Camaro 2SS and it has the exhaust dumped right after cats and o2 sensors, it's not throwing any codes of course it just has no mufflers. I am looking for someone that can possibly over look this. I just bought the car and wasn't really prepared for this. Pm me if you have any info please!
I am located in the Arlington area.

all I saw when I looked on there first was "exhaust system", looked further and it does define it as requiring mufflers, damn that's changed, it use to not be the case.

Yep, they are getting extremely specific with inspection items now.

they kind of have to I guess... "exhaust system" can be construed as a lot of different things depending on who's car it's attached to lol

Anyone? Buying the full exhaust from someone isn't an option, I only have this car and obviously wouldn't be able to transport it.

Why not? Both of these:

look like really good options for you and will probably be less than what it will cost for a shady shop to keep their mouth shut.

Yes I would do the stock exhaust in a heartbeat but I have no possible way to transport it once I buy it. I only own my camaro and I have no family or friends with a truck. I have had contacts in the past but unfortunately it has been years since I last had a car with exhaust mods and I don't have the addresses. I just recently bought this camaro and jumped back into the scene, I was driving a GTI and 350z for a few years.

Those listings are not that far away from Arlington. If you really wanna pass inspection get up, get happy and drive to one of those sellers. Have the passenger seat laid all the way back and have a towel or two with you, angle it towards the passenger window and insert towel and either drive it with the window down or position it as you'd like. It shouldn't stick out no more than 8-10 inches....I'm sure someone knows an inspection hookup but your gonna have this problem year after year so might as well get it fix now. If I am wrong your just out a few bucks for gas but... Smdh

Thanks everyone for your advice! I am going to go ahead and start buying my stuff for custom exhaust. I will just look up some videos on YouTube of some setups and go from there. I might do some e-cutouts at some point and try and find some decent mufflers though stock my car is incredibly quiet with them.

9-10 shops in the ghetto will do it and pass you so long as the pcm isn't throwing any codes. You don't even have to mention it most times. They really don't care. 4+ years with a non leagel daily and I've never had an issue.
