Cell Phone help ASAP
does anyone have any experience with the nokia 6620?
mine just froze up and when i turned it back on, it was like it reset itself, and i lost EVERY number I had. I had nearly 300 in the phone, and can't get them back. it was like they didnt save to the sim either...
Any help would be appreciated

My buttons froze up too. So, I took it to Cingular and the person behind the counter removes the back cover and takes the battery out and puts it back in. The buttons start to work again, then they say it happens from time-to-time and gives me a repair hotline number to call if I have any other problems. What the heck?

Worst case, check you statement...it should (depending on your carrier) have all the numbers you dialed listed....if it comes to that, I hope that you save your bills, I usually dial most of contact list in the same month, most people dont.
That sucks man. The AT&T guy (before the merge) said that they didnt have a data cable, so I told him that he better go find one somewhere, cause I wasnt going to transfer 300 #'s manually. Long story short, he found one in the back, and I back mine up on the computer. I have a 6820 and havent had any trouble out of mine.
Good luck man.

guess ill be figuring that out
nokia was no help today
they wanted me to send it in for some kinda bullshit firmware upgrade...
over 1 week w/o my phone, ha.
they couldn't find ANYONE in the DFW area to do it... (the 2nd time I called)
the first time, they gave me some bullshit number that ended up being a personal house...
