Tint...
Ok, so moving to Texas has meant a few adjustments....
One of which was getting the car inspected. In Florida, we dont have that crap anymore, so I was able to get by with my illegal tint for a few years now. I get out here and I find out that limo (5%) is a badbad thing.
As a result, I had to remove it, which meant tearing it from the windows, and leaving glue and a shredded layer of tint all over them. (yah my guy did two layers to get it that dark)
I want to remove it this weekend, as I cant stand to look at it anymore, and was wondering if anyone knew of a good way to get it off without using a razor?
Also, does anyone know of a good shop north of Dallas for getting it replaced with the darkest legally allowed out here?

I used a razor and windex on mine, no problem at all. Also hit it with a heat gun especially on the rear hatch. All came off clean with no marks. For little adhesive spots that got left i used Goof off (i think thats what its called).

if I understand the law correctly and was told correctly you can have limo tint on your car, however your Drivers side tint is the one that has to be like 30% or what ever the legal amount is. The rest of the car passenger windows and rear can be as dark as you want

Actally, I was told that it MUST be over 18% (the law is 20% +- 2%) on drivers and passenger windows, and the rest doesnt matter.
I kept the tint on the hatch, which was a custom inlay job I paid a lot of $$ to have done, its just the front two windows I need to clean now, Ill try the windex/scraper, but I was worried about scraping the glass....
