How much soon can i spray it and how much can it take thru the automatic??

I dont want to have to go to a th350 or th400.. I have destroyed so many trannies in both my other cars and im using a th350 in one and getting a th400 for the other...

You dont always have to put a th350 or a th400 transmission in if it breaks. I think their some other alternatives.

Duy I think you can spray a 150 shot fairly easy as far as the trany holding up that is just a hit and miss thing.

I don't think he knows you, or the sweet rides you have Duy.

Peace,
Craig.

i am pretty sure a 150 shot would be fine for a stock application... if anything just put a better tranny cooler on the car.

and Ell Ess won, i wouldnt talk much **** to Duy LOL... he considers the c6 slow due to his supra running 9.9's in full street trim and his bad *** 240

his rides are on www.visionboy.com - might want to check it out before you speak out of your *** again

That's great that he has some sick rides, but a stock C6 is still far from "slow"!

Duy you should have bought mine damn it

This is what I would recommend you do

Step 1: 2800-3200 stall

Step2: Gears the 3.15's blow and make the car feel like ****. Upgrade to a built (hardend output shaft) 3.42 gear ratio. Dont want to spray off the line with a stock gear. (Ask MTI about that)

Step3: let her breath. Equip the C6 with C6 Kooks 1 7/8 headers w/X-pipe.

Step4: Equip a TNT (new desgin for the C6) kit 125-150 should be safe.

Step5: when that gets old slap a G1 cam and Stage2E heads

Friend with this setup:

3200 stall
3.15 gears (couldnt spray out of the hole)
dynotech headers LT's
TNt 150 shot
and DR's

rwhp: 462

Ran 10.98 @ 127

You run heads/cam setup with a 150shot ... You knocking on the door of single digit number passes.

I am putting down 440/400 with a heads/cam setup out of the built 3.42 gears.

My next step if I keep it will be TNT 150-175 shot.

Let me know if you have any other questions brotha

Cheers
G

it should have the 4L65E in it, so it should be good for 550 HP. let us know how it holds up.

I think my stock C6 is slow too. They aren't much quicker (if any) than a stock f-body, especially from a stop.

Duy, did you at least buy the 6-speed automatic 2006 model? It has a paddle shifted 6-spd tranny. If not, return that POS and get either a manual or the A6.

I heard the A6 only holds up to 425rwhp.....

(Ill find the link)

Do some research if you plan to mod it if you have the A6. Thats a whole different ball game.

Garett, I'm sure some shop will figure out how to build the A6. Those 4L6X autos aren't very strong either in stock form.
