Draw your unemployment. They will dock you a couple of weeks but you should still be able to. Then do a little side business. Its actually legal as long as you dont draw any salary while on unemployment.

2. By you leaving and heading to the house...I am concerned you may have "resigned" in the eyes of your employer. This could require you to fight for your unemployment benefits.
3. This may be an opportunity. I would check with all the local tuning shops and see if they are looking for techs. MTI, HPE, etc. etc.
4. The parts manager at Casa Pontiac in Baytown is a regular on the GTO board. You may want to check with him and see if they are hiring techs. Who knows, you might become the "mod tech" over there.

May I ask, was it a "heated" disagreement? I've been in the workforce over 20 years now, and one of the first things I learned was to respect your "boss" whether or not they deserve it. It's a matter of survival.
Many people are out of work around the holidays. Sorry it had to happen to you, too. Good luck.

HRJ... We met briefly at the GTO Dyno day at MTI. I had the QS/Red untuned HC GTO that put down pathetic numbers (that day).
Moved on to a CTS-V now, and moved to Houston.
Happy T-Day.
