Default Houston LS1's : What times are you all running on Bolt Ons?

I want to get a good feel for what I can expect from just bolt ons at HRP. What are you all doing? Here is either what I have or hope to have in the very near future:

lid, borla cat back, Yank Extreme 4k stall, SLP lt's + ORY & cutouts, ls6 intake, ported tb, pulley & free mods

With good Tires and that stall, Low Low Twelves and even High 11's are typical. But many have gone faster.

My 98 had lid, home ported TB, ported stock exhaust manifolds, off-road ypipe, full open cutout, 2800 stall, freebie mods on ET streets and I beleive i ran somewhere around 12.7 or so. That was in a heavy *** full loaded TA with 2 12's and amp. I think that was in spring of 02. I've been stuck behind a 4 cylinder for the past 3 years so my memory is rough.

People have dipped into the mid 10's though....anything is possible. Depends on car and driving skills.

so do you all think with an a4/4k stall that a torque arm, lca's and other suspension parts are necessary, or just sfc's and sticky tires?

SFC's and sticky tires are all you need at this point.

A big stall and ET Streets or slicks will do wonders for your 60 ft. and ET. I knocked off .7 off of my ET with only the addition of a Yank ST-3500.

In good cold weather where the D.A. is in the negatives, yes HRP can't be beat for great ET's. (Run no more than a 1/4 tank of gas to save on weight. Gas weighs about 9 lbs. per gallon)

As far as weight reduction goes:

!cat back
!rear upper and lower seats
!rear back hatch partition
!spare tire & jack
!floor mats
!passenger seat
!factory wheels (Welds/skinnies)
!no water in windshield washer reservoir
!front sway bar

Anything miscellaneous stuff that you can see adds weight.

Going by memory, I think that covers all of my weight reduction items. Even with removing those items my lowest race weight was 3430.

11.04 is rediculous. I've seen blown / sprayed / stroked etc musclecars run quite a bit slower than that. If I were one of them I'd be upset about being beaten by someone with a FACTORY untouched LS1!
