Question on 20 in rims

Default Question on 20 in rims

I have a set of black 20's with a chrome lip and i was wondering if I should put rims on a trans am. what do yall think, my trans am is black. will it mess my bushings or anything up.

i vote for no. i dont like anything bigger than 17's on a 4th gen.

i think 20s would look real out of place, 19s look akward...

20's= too big


I have 18's and they looked small at first because the extra size raised up the body, and then when I put the drop kit on it the rims look really big now, anything bigger would be too much

20s=MAJOR GHETTO!!!!!!! 17's=MAX on 98-2002 Fbody, some 18's are socially acceptable!!!!

are you sure your's were 18s? They sure did look small to be 18s, they looked like 17x9s


I don't know about anything larger than an 18. I've seen 19s on a TA and they were ok but I wouldn't do it. I'm planning on stepping up to 18s

I insured a car like this check it out just photoshop the wheels and make them black with the crome lip.

Yes, they will most definitely mess up all of your bushings... especially your blinker and muffler bushings.

18's are as big as I would go. But that's all you if you want more.

how ya gonna ask if theyre 18's? they're 18x 9.5 on the rim and the tires are BF goodrich Gforce T/a's KDW's 275/35Z R18

actually that's just the company that makes them I got them from that "racing superstore" on cooper by Krispy Kreme the ordered them out of OK for 180 a peice

well I don't remember them looking like 18s. I guess I never paid attention or they didn't look as big since everything was black. I know Darren has 18s and I thought his looked bigger
