Getting GMMG installed in the morning! ?s
Short story then a few questions.
After getting rear ended back on Jan. 18 and the dealership/bodyshop dropping the ball twice I am finally getting the gmmg installed in the morning.
The dealership wanted me to drop the car off with them in the morning and they would drive it to the muffler shop, I said no way I will be taking it to the muffler shop. I already recieved a few new scratches(BAD ones) on the car and a blown speaker during the 2 and a half weeks they had my car. Of course they have fixed this but still it was the whole principle of it. My car was almost as bad after they had it then the wreck.
So in the morning I am taking it in. Is there anything you guys would pay close attention to how they install it?
Iv'e got SLP longtubes, SLP high flow cats, SLP ORY, flowtech cutout and CME. I am sick and tired of the little clamps that came with the SLP set up. I have this persistance exhaust leak under the car and I have tightned the **** out of those clamps with no luck. I plan on keeping the car and don't plan on changing anything as far as the exhaust goes.
Can anyone recomend some better clamps or could I just get them to weld all the seems up?
I guess I am asking what you would do in my situation.
And too. I hate to throw the old muffler away along with the old CME tips. If anyone is interested in these let me know. Would prefer someone local. The CME tips are split apart but I think they could be welded back together with no problem.
Thanks for the help and advise.

Hey bro, Have them weld all your connections together, thats what I had to do with my Loudmouth.
I am intestested in your tips, not the muffler. Could you send me some pics to ducati996spr@yahoo.com. If they are the 2 big ones, I would be really interested! I am in Dallas, but am willing to drive! Let me know.
I am also sending you a PM.
