My cam is in...
Big thanks to Daniel and Will.
Yeap decided at 3pm on Saturday that I was going to put my cam in, after my friend Daniel wanted to help.
So we got started about 6pm and worked I worked till 6am. He stayed up and finished the last 4 vavlesprings and he was going to crash for a few hours.
We got back up the next morning around 11am, and back to work. Ended up having to stop around 3pm cause I didn't have the longer bolt to put the crank pulley back on. So I made a phone call and picked the bolt up from another Friend, Will.
Started back up again yesterday evening about 5:30pm and finished around 9:30pm.
Here are some pics for you guys and gals....
Daniel removing driverside rockers
Crank pulley removed
of course we broke the puller to
Daniel laying around
Me fabing up my aluminum dowel rods for the lifters to stay in place.
Dowel rods made, worked very well!
Old cam finally out
New cam getting lubed up
All in all it was a good install. I used the www.ls1howto.com site and it was right on.
Now comes Daniels car, Heads and cam

I hope to get a video up soon.
She is untuned till my tuner gets his cable back in.
I put it up to 3k this morning, and it got really loud fast, and the pick up was great. Can't wait to see what she does after the tune.
And she is choppy sounding...
