2000 SILVERADO

I have no idea what the legal limit is on window tinting here in Texas, so I was hoping you guys could help me out. Oh, and say what percent tint you have as well. I would like to get a limo/pitch black tint, but I know it can't be legal.

the rear window can be pretty much painted black, the sides can't be any lower than 35%

i went with 20 though.

20% is the min for inspection but 25% is the min if you get pulled over by a dps officer. normaly it is give or take 2% if they are nice the reason every window from the factory has a small percentage of tint in it. i dont know about city laws and such but i have never had a problem unless it was a dps officer and that is why i have legal tint now. i know because i am a state inspector and have had 2 tickets for it.

o and as stated above any thing behind the driver pass window can be what ever.

i love it, but i always drive with my windows down, even in the light rain . for me it was more of an apperance mod than a 'tint cause its bright outside' ordeal.

no eyebrow or tinted front, so a good amount of light gets in if the sun is coming from the front.

going that dark, at night and in the rain you can 100% kiss your visibility out the door. i have to get out of the car to make sure something isnt behind me at night

Not sure on the percentage of tint that it has I just bought the car & haven't even driven it that much yet, It's been at Simple since I bought it. But just know it looks good on the car!
