Default Does anyone know where I can buy Mobil 1 Turbo Diesel Truck 5W40 motor oil?

I've looked at Wal-Mart, Oreilly, Autozone, and Napa. I can't find it anywhere. I'd like to purchase a case for now as I need 10 to change my oil. (first oil change) Let me know, thanks.

Rotella T is your friend. J/P You can order the mobile 1 from auto zone if you can wait a little while. Just curious how many miles you have on it now. I know the oil life monitor goes to 10K.

I have no idea if they carry it or not, but did you check Tractor Supply in Alvin?
The Wal-Mart here in town never has or is always out of everything I need. Same with Vatozone and O RLY's?.

BTW, I saw you yesterday on Adoue St.

I'm really set on synthetic, particularly the Mobil 1 Turbo Diesel Truck. Shell Rotella T does offer a synthetic, but I hear its a dino oil that's been hyrocracked.

SPEEDYws6, when I went to Autozone, they didn't mention anything about ordering it for me, but then again, I didn't ask. What's a little while if they can order it?

The truck barely hit 6k miles. I was thinking of doing dino oil for the first change as its still in its break in period, then switching over to a full synthetic.

ross87t, I haven't checked Tractor Supply, but I will tomorrow. Thanks for the tip.

I use the 5W40 SUV M1 in my race car and have had great results. It's a great oil.

I got mine from O'Reilly's ...

I got mine at O'Reilys, and my Wal-Mart carries it now too. I've always used Rotella in diesels though.

mitchntx, the motor oil is for my '06 2500HD LBZ Duramax.

LS69TA, you're saying that you found the Mobil 1 Turbo Diesel Truck at Wal-Mart and Oreilly's? I checked them both and neither one of them had them. I would only guess you're referring to another oil.

TchargedLS1TA, I'm really looking for a 5W40. Does Amsoil make that weight?

SixPak, I don't think there's any truck stops around here and if there is, it couldn't be close. I live in the city surrounded by cities.

I understand. It has the same spec, though.

What do ya'll think of Amsoil? I can get it for the same price as Mobil 1 Turbo Diesel Truck? Only difference is its 15W40 vs. 5W40. I'd rather have 5W40.
