well a friend of mine named dmoney and i are going to go race tonight at our local track called Laredo Raceway Park .....i installed some dynatech long tubes and i made 331hp and 348tq so i wanna see what i am gonna run...i'll post up the time tomorrow

LETS BRAKE IT DOWN......i have a 72,xxx mile stock ls1 m6 ss....with the stock ls1 intake and internals....all i have are some dynatech LT's a 3inch y with an open cutout and a ported tb by marine02ss and a mti carbon fiber lid.....and i am making 331hp and 348tq at the wheels.....and 376hp and 395tq at the flywheel....so i think im pretty good for now, i ran it last night about 6 times on some crappy nitto drag radials that werent hooking for ****....

my mods are....bmr tubular lca's.....b&m ripper shifter....lid....dynatech lt's and a ported tb thats it

1st run 13.9 because the track was still wet with trackbite
2nd run 13.1 better but still no traction
3rd run 13.1 same as prior run and banging the limiter in third to fourth
4th run 13.2 got alright traction off the line but a shitload of wheel hop
5th run 13.1 ...............
6th run 12.9 great traction off the line but banged the limiter on 1st to 2nd

WELL i went out to our local track last night again...but this time on some et steets that a friend dmoney had lent me....and my best was a 12.80 with a 1.80 60ft

BUT THE BAD PART IS THAT MY TRANNY has been acting up lately grinding here and there...and well last night it wasnt letting me go into fourth...it was throwing it into second so i think i bent a pushrod....i was freaking out....my service engine soon light was blinking like a freaking shiftlight!!!......and the car is miss firing pretty bad....i am gonna connect it to the tech2 during lunch and see what it might be.....the good thing might be that if it is a pushrod...i already have a new set of chromemoly 7.4 pushrods at home....that i was gonna install with my cam....so we'll see

That sux in soooo many ways...Maybe you should invest in an aftermarket shifter down the road man...

The car may be worse than what we thought. Misfires on 5 & 6. Took off the valvecovers, checked pushrods, one is fine the other is a tiny out of shape, but not enough to hear that kind of loud ticking. Took a look at the sparkplug and One of two things, bent valve or the lifter gave. Teardown begins tommorrow.

 

Damn.......If you get a chance.PM where you guys are gonna tear it down..Might be very interesting to watch this.

well today i will do a compression test at home...to find out which...if any....cylinder has the bent valve....and then start taking it apart...you are more than welcome to go and help or watch whatever you wanna call it milt.....i called you the other night but your wife said your were watching power rangers in your ninja turtle pajamas...
